The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, March 3, 1863, has awarded in the name of Congress the Medal of Honor to Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty.

Thanks Jamie.
Is Smith a UU?
His bio is here.
He serverd four deployements: Persian Gulf War, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The Army's Bio is silent on his faith.
I never thought to ask whether SFC Smith was a UU. The Medal of Honor being the highest award given in any of our military branches, i thought the story itself was enough.
I meant it as a show of how we honor those who give thier lives in defense of others.. which is literally what Paul Smith did.
Hope that explains why I reposted it here.
Thanks
